Traditionally, both skilled and non-medical home care services were provided for seniors and the elderly by home healthcare agencies. Senior home care and elderly home care services included skilled nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, durable medical equipment, and other healthcare-related services. Today, senior home healthcare agencies throughout the country do an excellent job of providing skilled home care and healthcare to seniors and those who wish to remain independent at home.
